Join BPD for two seminars during Stockholm World Water Week:
- Room T5, Tuesday 19th, 13.30-17.00pm – Making Regulation Work for the Poor: Accelerating Access to Water and Sanitation – Seminar co-convened with GTZ, AFD and WSP
- Room K22/23, Thursday 21st, 13.30-17.00pm – Impending Disaster or Strategic Opportunity? Small Town Sanitation – It’s a Big Issue… This session is co-convened with IWA and WaterAid. IIED, PsEau and Gates Foundation will contribute to the debates exploring small-town sanitation.

Developing Partnerships in Practice (DPP) June 08 & October 08
25 participants from Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa, UK, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe joined BPD staff for the DPP course in Livingstone, Zambia in early June 2008. Invaluable support from STREAMS network member, the Institute of Water and Sanitation Development, Zimbabwe, ensured that the week-long course was an informative yet light-hearted success.
The next DPP course will be held in Senegal (6-10 October 2008) in collaboration with CREPA. This course will be for Francophone West African participants. Please contact us for further information and application forms.
